All about Gasoline 100

Quite recently gasoline AI 100 became available at fuel stations and many car users readily lined up to try the new fuel. Sure thing! This gas grade is quite expensive, which should normally mean ‘good’. Besides, it ensures efficient performance! However after a while these car users began to notice that their faithful iron horses do not go as well as before, failing to show the former speed and manoeuvrability. And generally, the cars, including the rather new ones, started suffering from minor breakdowns. So what is the reason? You are right, the issue is about the fuel!

You might ask: “How is that? I fill my vehicle with high-quality fuel!” The answer is simple: this fuel is not suitable for your car.

What is gasoline 100?

100 is the octane number. The higher the octane number, the slower gasoline burns while the engine is running. For this reason, this gasoline grade shows better fuel efficiency. The only thing is, it is not suitable for all vehicles.

Gasoline AI 100 is sold under Pulsar-100 and Ultimate-100 trademarks. They are intended for fuelling highly supercharged direct injection engines, as well as engines designed for gasoline with an octane higher than 95.

In simple terms, you can use gasoline 100 only if you your car has a highly supercharged engine. If your iron horse performs well on gasoline 92, you should not take risks associated with switching to grade 100. Potential losses are dramatic!

At that, certain experts are convinced that the new gasoline is a pure and simple marketing gimmick. In fact, even high-powered car engines run well using gasoline 98, and gasoline 100 is just an advertising point.

Others believe that the majority of racing cars (meaning cars that run about the streets of large cities rather than those that participate in official races) run on gasoline 100 only. They claim that this fuel provides a car with an extra manoeuvring ability. However it is not known for sure whether this is true or not.
